Eathan's Baptism

Eathan was baptized on Sat. Aug 1. It was such a special day for our family! I was really anxious before the big day because I was paranoid about going into labor and having to cancel the baptism. But, everything went off without a hitch... I was there... big belly and all! :) Here are a few pictures that Marilyn was able to capture (we lost our camera...again)

Eathan got this suit when he was a ring bearer at my nephew's wedding a few months ago. We cleaned it and put it away and saved it to wear for his baptism. He couldn't wait to wear it again! He sure is handsome!!

Eathan and Daddy... I can't wait to see a picture like this someday with Eathan and one of his children dressed in white.

We were overwhelmed by the spirit that was there. Of course, I cried (as evidenced by this picture.) I know Eathan felt the spirit too and he even cried a little bit. This was such an important milestone in his life. We are really proud of Eathan for learning and growing and making the choice to be baptized. I wish we could bottle up all of the wonderful feelings of this day and experience them over and over whenever we want. These tender moments really bring our family closer together in a special way. A new peace has come into our home in the last several days. For this we are grateful!
Congratulations Eathan! We love you!
